Mount Bromo sits in the middle of a vast plain called the Sand Sea, a protected nature reserve since 1919. The typical way to visit Mount Bromo is from the nearby mountain village of Cemoro Lawang. From there it is also possible to take an organized jeep tour, which includes a stop at the viewpoint on Mount Penanjakan (2,270 meters). According to folklore, at the end of the 15th century princess Roro Anteng from the Majapahit Empire started a separate principality together with her husband Joko Seger. They named it Tengger after the last syllables of their names. The principality prospered, but the ruling couple did not have children. In their despair, they climbed Mount Bromo to pray to the gods, who granted them help, but requested the last child to be sacrificed to the gods. They had 24 children, and when the 25th and last child Kesuma was born Roro Anteng refused to do the sacrifice as promised. The gods then threatened with fire and brimstone, until she finally sacrificed the child. After the child was thrown into the crater, the voice of the child ordered the local people to perform an annual ceremony on the volcano, which is still held today.

Day 2: BROMO TOUR – SURABAYA (B)
Wake up 03.00 am and by the 4 WD will bring you to the world's most famous view point at Mount pananjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru in the back ground is breathtaking the play light shadow with sunrise reach Mountain succession from the top to the bottom and the usual fog of the caldera. Day 2: BROMO TOURS– IJEN (B)
Wake up call at 03.30 and drive to a view point of Penanjakan (2.705m) by jeep to see a beautiful sunrise and the mount bromo landscape. Going down the hill and proceed the sand sea to climb up mount bromo by feet or pony. Back to hotel for breakfast and drive to mount Ijen. Lunch en route, it will be arriving at hotel in the afternoon.

Day 3: IJEN TOURS– SURABAYA (B)

After having breakfast, exploring the largest of the coffee plantation in Indonesia and we climb up to mount Ijen. The ijen crater shows a special type of volcanic feature common to Indonesia, about 1 km in diameter and 175metres deep. The floor is covered completely by a warm lake, milky blue green in color with the approximately 2400 meter above sea level. Going down the hill and proceed the sand sea then climb up to mount bromo by feet or pony. Back to hotel for breakfast and drive to Malang to visit Jatim Park – the miniature of east java heritage. Apple plantation and Coban Rondo water fall in Batu district.

Day 3: MALANG - SURABAYA (B)
